Description: The decorative cast brass shoe buckle from the early 1700’s period was excavated in the Yorktown/Williamsburg area of Virginia. A part of an older collection most of the artifacts were from areas of military occupation. The display includes six flat buttons from the early 1800’s excavated from colonial house sites in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. Two of the buttons are decorative. The buckle measures 1 ½” by 1 ¾”. The artifacts come as shown in a 4” x 5” riker style case. All of the artifacts are guaranteed to be original as stated. A hand signed and dated “Certificate of Authenticity” will be issued by Collectors Frame with a photograph and description of the items purchased.
