And No. 8, "Picasso's Erotic Gravures," an issue completely dedicated to Picasso. With articles on current events, including anti-war, arts and entertainment, and the Beats and hippie lifestyle. The font used for the the title on the covers of the magazine, has since become an established font family named ITC Avant Garde. The magazine is not just rich in content and illustration, but is also notable for its graphic and logogram design by Herb Lubalin. Condition: Purchased from original owner. Light to average wear.
