Contax 2 II w. Ziess Sonnar 1.5 50mm Lens

Description: Shown here is a Contax 2 film camera. Physically the body is in very nice condition. The serial number is G 8633. The G indicates that is was manufactured in 1937/38. The lens is a Carl Ziess Jana Sonnar 1.5 50MM. The Lens is not coated and in very nice condition . As pictured it comes with the very hard to find original leather case also very usual condition. The number on the back cover matches the on on the camera top. The one problem with this camera is , although the metal curtains are good looking physically, the shutter mechanism does not work properly. Camera could use a CLA to get it working properly. That being said this being an old camera, it is being sold as is with no returns accepted. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions before bidding. More than happy to answer any concerns that you may have. Camera will be sent thru the USPO insured for $30.00 Just added three more pictures. Also included original metal take up spool not shown.
