The backside of the cap is mirror polished for signaling when removed. Survival Kit in hilt contains a ferro rod for starting fires, fishing wire, split shot, fly's and a high quality brass compass. Beautiful custom leather sheath to properly store and carry the knife. The snap pouch on the front of the sheath stores a diamond sharpening hone for field use.
