Description: This is a very cool deco leaning to streamline 1951 Philco radio model 51-532 made in Philadelphia. Saw this at a recent radio show and had to convert it to Bluetooth. Love the big rounded speaker grille . I try to keep as much of the original stuff as possible. The original dark brown bakelite case was in ok condition with no cracks or breaks. Removed the non working radio parts to make way for the new electronics. Cleaned & polished the case. The original clear half dome plastic speaker grille was intact as was the sparkly cloth. Cleaned & reinstalled both. The original glass dial was in good condition needing cleaning. The original knobs were missing. Used parts from my inventory painted gold to keep the look. On the inside I installed a new 50 watt digital Bluetooth amp connected to a Jensen 4" multi range speaker. Made a new back panel. Really has a great look & style. Now this streamline deco classic is looking beautiful again. Please look at the pics. This is one of a kind speaker that is cool. A real conversation piece that makes a grand statement. Buy it for yourself or give it as a great gift. The Sentinel radio now Bluetooth speaker measures a small but cool 12" x 7" x 6" .Will look good, sound great and fit anywhere.
