In 1898business outgrew the "Nono's" capacity and she becamea New Haven oyster dredge.Historical Society of Greater Port Jefferson Stamped between the crest and the description is:IRONSTONEUSA On the picture itself you can see the starboard side of the steamer. There's a closeup of the trim on the front of the plate - it provides interest without overpowering the center picture. There are no chips, crazing, or cracks but please look carefully at the photos - I tried to capture a typical fault in the finish. There is a rough feel to some of the peaks in the rim design but they do not show up as chips in the photos - even under 4x magnification. (They be in the finish itself - last photo) 10 1/4" round Take a look at our other Delano plates listed - We'll combine shipping if you wait for an invoice with the adjusted totals.
