Description: 1900s early Edwardian dress is comprised of a long skirt with embroidery all along the scalloped hem, and an elegant overdress with matching embroidery. The top has loose 3/4 length sleeves with delicate net lace and embroidery on the upturned cuffs, a fitted waist and sweet front with pleated net chiffon at center neckline flanked by more embroidery and lace. I carefully soaked this dress in Oxyclean (a non bleach cleaner) for two days, removing over 100 years of age related discoloring. There is a VERY faint darkening on the under sleeves, not seen when worn. Fully wearable, the skirt can use some patching at back waist and new hook and eye (or button) added. This also is concealed when the ensemble is worn. The waist of the over dress is 25 inches with no give, the hips are somewhat loose as is the bust as compared to the waist. There may be a couple of tiny holes here and there but overall presents very well and wears beautifully. I cannot accept returns on these antique items, so please read the description thoroughly, view all photos and ask any questions before purchase, thank you!
