Description: Elgin 275 Model 2 12 Size 14K Yellow Gold Full Hunter Pocket Watch ca. 1904. This antique Elgin grade 275, model 2, class 100, 12 size, full hunter pocket watch has a solid 14K yellow gold case measuring approximately 46mm in diameter x 2 1/2 inches long including bow. The case is completely engraved with an art deco design with a plaque on the front that is engraved with a monogram, and the back that has a vase of flowers with foliage on the back. The back cover has a very minimal dent that is hardly noticeable. This case is in otherwise excellent condition. The front, back and dust cover hinges all open, close and secure properly. The inside front cover is stamped "131519". The white enamel dial is beautifully detailed with placed silver patterns. The dial has black Arabic numeral hour markers, a black five minute track, gold Louis XIV hands, a seconds register at six o'clock and is marked "Elgin". There is a faint hairlines from the center down to seven. The dial is in otherwise great condition. The crystal is in great condition. The inside back cover is stamped "W.W.C.MFG. 14K US ASSAY - 131519". The inside dust cover is stamped "14K - 131519". The nickel movement is stamped "Elgin Nat'l Watch Co. - U.S.A. - 10072839 - 17 Jewels - Adjusted". All screws and jewels appear to be in great condition. Stem wind and set.
