Description: This is an exceptionally rare Renwal #99 four wheel Stake Wagon in excellent condition. It was made in the years 1950 to 1952 And is 4 1/4 inches long. It has four removable gates on the four sides of the body. The same body was used on the number 101 stake truck . It is missing the removable tongue that accompanied her the wagon, however, there was no suitable toy in the Renwal inventory during the period of manufacture to pull the wagon. If found, this toy is usually found with the hinged tongue and the gates missing. This toy is complete in that respect. This is just one of many vintage toys that I have collected in over 40 years in collectIng ; Mostly plastic toys of the 1940s and 50s. Many are rare, and most are excellent.
