Description: Offered is a nice mixed group of American sterling spoons and English sterling spoons, weighing a total of 150 grams. At Kitco's per gram purchase price of $0.98 today, and allowing for 925/1000 fineness, today's scrap value for these spoons is $135.98. With inflation expected to increase again shortly, silver should continue to rise as a hedge. Many of these spoons have individual appeal and are worth saving, however - some have very fancy patterns (see pics), and one is engraved for the Klip River Rifle Association of South Africa, dating back roughly to the Boer War era. All of these spoons are marked sterling (for the American spoons) or have English sterling silver hallmarks for the two British spoons. Condition is fairly good on all pieces with no major dings and no splits or repairs. All in all a nice group of usable spoons in good condition, for individual sale and/or scrap! Shipping to U.S. locations only. Please see my other auctions for more great items - I'm always happy to combine shipping on multiple wins. Items may be returned within five days of receipt if item is not authentic or substantially differs from the description and pictures. Check out more items at Cliff Nunn Antique Silver. Thanks!
