Description: This listing is for an Exceptional Vintage Hand Woven Aubussan Weave Verdure and Peacocks Tapestry originally Sold by Ethan Allen , measuring 66 inches wide by 76 inches long , hand backed in heavier fine grey cotton fabric . It has an enclosure on top going from side to side for a rod to pass through. Exceptional color scheme and drawing. Very few of this class of tapestry has been woven which is exceptional in detail and color. It has not been washed while in my possession . It has hung on a wall all its life. In excellent condition with no faults noted on tapestry, with a faint minimal sweating on backing near where the label is , which is rather insignificant. It weighs 9.5 lbs. net including backing. I would not hesitate to display this in my own house. It will be kept and shipped folded . I usually post many more images on my listing than the 12 listed on eBay gallery which only will be visible to individuals on classic eBay site. Images are continuous and have an order ( front , back, sides, etc.. ) and should be viewed in continuous fashion.
