With genuine turquoise becoming more and more rare many designers are turning to HOWLITE. Although the stone does take to permanent color well its the color of turquoise that its most famous for. Unfortunately far too often designers/manufacturers try to pawn off HOWLITE as genuine turquoise. Buyer Beware! For your consideration today is a genuine Howlite pendant with a 21" micro bead 5 strand necklace. The necklace is 21" with a 2" extender. The pendant and necklace weigh in at 44 grams - just shy of one and a half ounces. The pendant measures approximately 3" x 1.5". There is a black faceted, pear shaped crystal at the bottom of the pendant. The back is open and there are no hallmarks.
