He was editor /publisher of Gegenschein Press (1971-1987) and the owner/producer of NYC performance loft- The Gegenschein Vaudeville Placenter from 1976-1978. He’s published in numerous small press magazines with a Chapbook What I Don’t Know For Sure (Burning Deck) and Periods, selected writings 1972-1987 (Gegenschein) and “The History of Pre-Diction, with Gérard Sendrey (Gegenschein 2011). He’s had poetry readings in the U.S. and Europe and has written/ performed his own songs with many bands most recently with AnDna producing the recent vinyl album Growing in the Dark. He’s had numerous one person and group art shows in the U.S. / Europe including The Musée Création Franche in Bégles, France. His paintings are in museums and private collections. His art is a primitive expressionism inspired by Kenneth Patchin, European Expressionists, Abstract Expressionists, Fauves, Dada, CoBrA, Dubuffet, Art Brut, Outsider Art and children's art.
