Description: This well preserved "handmade" sewing pin cushion rocking chair was made by Ernie Ledbetter - Los Vegas, Nevada in 1984. His name, year and location are stamped on the underside of the chair. This item was a gift from my aunt and was just displayed as a knick - knack in my sewing room. It features a fabric pin cushion trimmed in lace with six spools of polyester thread in a variety of colors resting on pegs on the back of the chair seat. The Rocking chair has a place for the plastic thimble and gold handled sewing scissors to be stored. The rocking chair is well preserved and in overall good condition with minor flaws. The thimble has a black spot and the scissors, ( in working condition), have a spot on one of the cutting blades. The back rest has a little wobble, but it is glued into the dowel holes. This Sewing Pin Cushion Rocking Chair will make any seamstress happy and a sewing room warm and cozy. See all photos as they are part of this listings description and condition.
