It is my version of a paper lantern. Beautiful when hanging in front of a light source. It is 8" tall and 5 1/2" wide and is made from two different types of highly textured clear iridescent glass, capped with a wine colored glass It is trimmed with a silver filigree and a silk tassel and is ready to be hung by its coordinating ribbon I use the tiffany method for all the items in my shop. This means I pattern, hand-cut, grind, wrap with copper foil, burnish, solder, and polish each item I make. I take special care with all of my work to ensure it will stand the test of time. This is so pretty when hung in a window, especially when the sun hits it and creates reflections on the wall.
