Description: This is a vintage spiral notebook or theme book from the 1960s or earlier. Hytone Products brand, a Westab brand (also Western Tablet & Stationary) The notebook is No. 2842/5. Would make an excellent movie prop for a 1950s or 1960s era film or show. I've had prop houses buy my vintage office supplies in the past. 5 punched holes and 48 double sided wide ruled pages. Pages measure 10.5" x 8". Most likely this notebook was made prior to 1966 because that is when Mead bought out Western Tablet & Stationary (also known as Westab) who made the Hytone Products items. The cover is brown and the pages are off-white. Condition: For being about 60 years old, this notebook is in great shape. No musty smells. All pages are clean. I had to erase some pencil markings from 2 pages. There is an oily stain at the top of the inside of the front cover. See last photo. The stain isn't noticeable from the front.
