Description: 1 version of painting. The TKS is a Polish light tank (tankette) from World War II. The first prototypes of the vehicle were created in 1933, and serial production lasted from 1934 to 1936, ending with the production of 280 units of this vehicle. The TKS was powered by a Polski Fiat 122B engine with 46 HP. The vehicle's armament consisted of 1 Hotchkiss wz.25 machine gun, caliber 7.92 mm, or 1 heaviest wz.38 FK-A machine gun, caliber 20 mm. The TKS was created as a modernization and development of the TK-3 vehicle. Compared to the original, the front part of the hull was changed, a new engine with slightly higher power was added, the armor was reinforced - especially in the front part of the vehicle, the running gear and electrical system were modernized. The changes led to the creation of an essentially completely new vehicle. However, the previous armament was retained, i.e. a single machine gun, which was planned to be replaced with a 20 mm weapon. However, the outbreak of war in 1939 thwarted these plans and only about 20-30 TKS were modernized in this way. Due to the large number of TKS produced, by Polish standards, they were a basic element of Polish armored forces during the September Campaign in 1939. TKS tankettes were also exported to Estonia, and the ones captured in 1939 were used by both the German and Soviet armies.
