Operating the PackRat is very easy. The Volume knob controls the overall volume of the pedal, the Distortion knob controls the amount of distortion and the Filter knob can be used to brighten or darken the sound, this is effectively a simple low-pass filter. The mode selector is a graduated pot that locks as you scroll through the nine legendary versions of this circuit.
