Description: This is a rare April 19th, 1943 "Playgoer" playbill (with an original ticket stub, ticket envelope and two newspaper articles) from the four-night, Post-Broadway engagement of the ANTON CHEKHOV classic "THREE SISTERS" at the Erlanger Theatre in Buffalo, New York. (The revival opened December 21st, 1942 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in New York City and ran for 123 performances before going on the road.) ..... Also includes two full pages from the "Buffalo Evening News" (shown in the last two scanned images) as well as two additional clipped reviews ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a paper clip indentation in the top edge of the playbill, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
