Description: These beautiful silk flags are now nearly 90 years old but they have been preserved individually in their original waxed, cellophane envelopes. They are also housed in clear plastic sheets for further protection. There were 48 flags in the series and this listing is for the full set. Batches were printed in UK and USA - same flags, but those Printed in USA had that wording on them while the UK sets had no print legend. Often, you will see "sets" that are a mixture of UK and USA items but not so in this case - all 48 flags are Printed in USA. The photos are taken of the flags in their envelopes which have discoloured slightly with age but you can be assured that the flags inside are bright and clean.
