Everything else that I can see works just fine. I'm listing it as "Open Box" as I believe it may be new, but I don't want to mislead with the shutter not working. The camera is in excellent shape (other than the shutter), no marks or scratches...looks brand new.” I have been able to put a lens on this camera and the auto focus does work great, auto focus motor sounds good and is smooth. The camera turns on, the screen is bright and clear...everything seems to work other than the shutter as mentioned. There is a blue film over the rear screen...looks like it was a film placed on the screen from the factory. I'm not pulling it off so I can assume the screen is perfectly clean once removed. I believe the camera is brand new as it was stated to me when I purchased it. If you can fix the shutter...you will have a very nice, mint 7D. I'm including a new Kastar battery but no charger. It will be fully charged when I put in the shipping box.
