Description: A Stunning KTK Lotus Ware Columbia Bowl w/Pinched Neck, Pink Roses & Gold Filagree Handles. This lovely bowl featured hand-painted pale pink roses with pale green leaves. It is wonderfully detailed with gold filigreed handles with beaded gold ruffled rim and beaded ring near pinched top - gold gilded. It features a bulbous body with a pinched neck narrow top and applied filigreed handles. It stands 4" tall, 6 1/4" wide with a 1 1/2" opening. It is the same shape & size (but with a different hand painted floral scene) as listed on page 65 of "Knowles, Taylor & Knowles American Bone China" by Timothy J. Kearns; and page 49 of "Collector's Encyclopedia of Knowles, Taylor & Knowles China" by Mary Frank Gaston. This piece is in stellar condition - no chips, fleabites or cracks! A beautiful example of KTK Lotus Ware craftsmanship!! Lotus Ware was made for only a short period of time in East Liverpool, Ohio. It is considered scarce & highly collectible.
