Description: A stunning KTK Lotus Ware Flower Bowl, white w/applied leaves & Berries, 4 1/2" high. This bowl has a narrow free-form opening at the top with applied leaves and berries on the body. This undecorated (all white) example illustrates the detail of the workmanship that Knowles, Taylor & Knowles is known for. The is a BOOK PIECE...featured on page 57 of the "Collector's Encyclopedia of Knowles, Taylor & Knowles" by Mary Frank Gaston. This piece is 4 1/2" tall and is in good condition overall. It does have 2 minor hairlines at the top (as shown in the last 2 photos). These pieces are extremely rare. Lotus Ware was only made for a short period of time in East Liverpool, Ohio, and pieces are considered scarce and high collectible. The mark on this bowl puts it circa 1889-1896.
