It is also know as Italian Honey Fig. This is a hardy Fig that produces large yellowish-green fruit with a sweet, light amber flesh. It can bear two crops per growing season. One that ripens in mid to late July and another that ripens in mid September. It can freeze down to the ground and still come back and bear fruit the next season. The Lattarulla Fig is the most reliable Fig for cool summer areas with a short growing season. Figs can also be grown indoors as a house plant.
