Description: I have played trumpet since the early 1960’s and sold them here on eBay for over 20 years …. Judging by the LeBlanc Paris serial number I think the horn was made in the late 1960’s??? I thought I had heard of most of the prominent trumpeters in the 20th century,,,, HOWEVER, early this year I found this trumpet by LeBlanc Paris …. It was amazing what I heard and read about Conrad Gozzo!!! Please take a little time to google him! Valves and slides appear to be in good condition …. It has good compression …. The horn, like a Committee, is sorta plain looking but it is a pro player …. The horn seems to be a good player HOWEVER it has a some dents, dings, lots of lacquer discoloration, the brace with the LeBlanc medallion is bent (last picture), one spit valve spring will need replacing and unsure if there is any red rot!!! PLEASE look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of the description …. Thanks for looking and PLEASE let me know if you have any questions 😀 The American composer, arranger, trumpeter and record producer Tutti Camarata (1913-2005) wrote this beautiful song especially for Conrad Gozzo (1922-1964), an American trumpet player, a topnotch studio lead trumpeter and jazz soloist, who played one of the purest trumpets ever. Upon recording what became his signature song, 'Trumpeter's Prayer' in one take, Conrad Gozzo received a standing ovation from the studio members.
