The benefits and important features of the Audio Classique LP12 Armboard are: · The Audio Classique Armboard is a straight swap (no drilling or modifications to your LP12 are required). It is ready to fit using the existing sub-chassis mounting holes. The Armboard has an innovative integrated sub-chassis mounting system. This feature allows the Armboard to be removed time and again for maintenance and cartridge changing without ANY fear of stripping or loose screw holes ? but better still...... · The Armboard is securely attached to the torsionally stiff LP12 sub chassis making an extremely rigid and integrated suspended sub-chassis system.Please note: this Armboard is not currently suitable for the Majik Sub-chassis. · The 3009 Tone arm mounting has been re-engineered and provides a highly effective but simple integrated mounting arrangement for the SME, allowing the arm to be set up perfectly, applying perfect compression to the rubber grommets or to be tightened down firmly if hard mounted (without grommets). · This kit will also improve chassis damping and give huge improvements to the rigidity between the tonearm and sub-chassis thus allowing the ability to get the very best from the tonearm and the LP12. · The standard MDF Armboard does not do justice sonically or visually to the quality of the other LP12 components. The Audio Classique Armboard will provide all round improvements. Made from laser cut 10mm high gloss cast acrylic with integrated fittings, this Armboard compliments the finish of both the SME 3009 and LP12 perfectly and the turntable arm assembly looks absolutely stunning. This Audio Classique product is far superior to the original laminated and MDF Armboards. If you already have an SME or equivalent arm fitted to your LP12 the Armboard can be fitted without the need to reset your LP12.
