Description: Offered is a Lionel #2460--12 wheel--Operating Crane Car with black cab which they produced from 1946 up to 1950. NOTE----ALL DATA COMES FROM GREENBERG'S 2023 ED. OF HIS "LIONEL--PPG" pp. 69. He values this car from $30.00 up to $71.00. The car is listed as being in USED CONDITION. It looks to me as though it is new. IT IS NOT TOTALLY ORIGINAL THOUGH. The cord had deteriorated and I did disassemble the car and replaced the cord with brown NYLON and I did replace Lionel's '6' screws with metal screws of a slightly larger size. Their screws were always stripped! THE BOX IS HORRIBLE BUT I REFUSE TO TAPE IT. The shipping sleeve is nice. If you like these cars as I do, this is a very nice one.
