The mold was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer mold #3060ST. Andalusian Mare The Andalusian Mare has the round "Breyer Molding Co." stamp, with later models having the "B" stamp as well. The model was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer mold #3060MA. Black Stallion The Black Stallion was introduced in 1981 and represents the equine star of The Black Stallion novel by Walter Farley and its subsequent movies. The mold has a round "Breyer Molding Co." stamp, and early models have the "B" stamp as well. The Black Stallion was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer mold #401. Duchess ~ Sonador "Dreamer" This beautiful version of Sonador from the movie "Dreamer" was only available through Walmart in 2005-2006, coinciding with the release of the movie. She sports the horse's copper chestnut coat and tiny star. She is Factory Mint with gold undertones that show through, giving her depth and the appearance of motion. Shire The Shire (or Shire A) mold was introduced in 2002. It differs from the Shire B in that the Shire A head is not tucked in toward the neck. The mold was sculpted by Kathleen Moody and is Breyer mold #627A. Arabian Mare The Arabian Mare (or Classic Arabian Mare - CAM) has the round "Breyer Molding Co." mold stamp and the "U.S.A." stamp. Some models also have the "B" stamp. The Arabian Mare was sculpted by Maureen Love, originally for Hagen-Renaker as "Sheba," and is Breyer mold #3055MA. Breyer no longer has an agreement with Hagen-Renaker for the mass production of this mold and it will likely only be seen in special runs in the future.
