Description: This Ludwig kit sounds Amazing!!! Bass Drum sounds huge with great punch and the toms have a great warm tone that ring just right. This is a vintage kit from the late 60’s-early 70’s in the desirable Mod Orange finish. Please note that the hardware has it's fair share of pitting and oxidation, especially the hoops, please look at photos and below is a description of each drum. 9x13 tom. This tom originally had a pointy Blue/Olive badge which was removed at some point but you can still see the outline from fade. Clear interior shell. Bottom bearing edge has a few very small dings but doesn’t affect tuning. Wrap is faded and was reglued at seam. Muffler is missing. Not all tension rods are original. Rust and pitting on hoops, some pitting on hardware. 16x16 floor tom. This drum originally had a pointy Blue/Olive badge which was removed at some point but you can still see the outline from fade. Clear interior shell. Bearing edges are nice and untouched. Wrap is faded and was reglued at the seam. Muffler is missing. Not all tension rods are original. Rust and pitting on hoops and some on hardware. Some splintering to inner ply (see picture). 14x22 Bass Drum, Keystone badge with white painted interior. The internal reinfocement hoop was reglued on two sections, reso side bearing edges are a little rough but still very good. There are two small cracks in finish, and the wrap is chewed up on the reso side (likely played without a front hoop at some point, ala' John Dinsmore. The wrap has been glued down. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. This is a killer players kit and the tone just isn't replicated on the remakes.
