Description: These shoe trees are in very nice condition, especially given their age. My guess is that at one time there was a men's store close to Madison Square Garden (at one time, a famous venue for boxing matches.) Hence the "Knockouts for Value" on the tag. The wood appears too dense to be cedar. (Ash? Poplar?) I don't really know, but they are heavy. The pulls at the back are metal, the ID plate appears to be brass. (Magnet doesn't stick.) No dents or discolorations on the wood. Both plungers work fine, although there is some surface rust. Given the look of the plunger and the age, I'm guessing that they were made by the Rochester Shoe Tree Co. Just a guess. Relaxed measurement is 11", depressed they are 10.5. They fit my size 10 cowboy boot fine. Maybe OK for a 10.5 shoe but probably no more. Shop our site plenty, as we combine shipping in order to save you money. Ask me about multiple item discounts.
