Magnificent Antique Hat Victorian 1840's Brown Straw Hat Floral Trims

Description: A very rare and magnificent antique Victorian 1840's straw hat. The hat is from a recent purchase of a hat collection. It still retains all of it's original trimmings. The brim has a wide spray of flowers and on each side is a dangle of white flowers. The hat is trimmed with brown satin ribbon and chin ties. It is in very good condition. There are a couple of breaks in the straw on the back crown area. Such a wonderful treasure to add to anyone's early textile collection. Length from front to back 12 inches. Buyer pays shipping.
