Description: This wonderful cotton 1870's / 1880's indigo blue and white hourglass quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted. It measures 68" X 76" and is in excellent, sturdy condition, with the a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. There are straight line designs quilted throughout at 10 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are white, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Greene County, Ohio. The DAZZLING, LAYERED DESIGN and GREAT CONDITION make this 19th century COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
