Kevin Feige announced at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con that Avengers 5: Doomsday will star Robert Downey Jr. As Doom! Cameo appearances by Jubilee, Nova and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Dum-Dum Dugan. No stock photo here. Collectors note: an excellent copy with outstanding eye appeal! Sharp, bright and clean with supple pages. Comic is strictly graded very fine/near mint (VF/NM) according to the Overstreet Grading Guide. Check scans closely for condition and defects. A limited number of bindery defects and/or stresses are allowed. Almost flat cover with almost imperceptible surface wear. Corners are cut square and sharp with ever-so-slight blunting allowed. Spine is tight and flat; no spine roll or split allowed. Cover is flat with no surface wear. Staples may may show some discoloration but no rust and/or rust migration. Only the slightest staple tears are allowed; a very minor accumulation of stress lines may be present but not overly obvious. No tears allowed on cover. A 1/8-inch bend is allowed with almost no color break. Slight interior tears are allowed-it was common for very slight tears to be present along the lower margins of interior pages from this era of comics [a printing process defect that was caused when the paper was pulled through the printing press; a very common printing defect from this era of comics]. Note: A moderate bindery stress at mid-spine on front cover. A couple of slight bindery stresses along spine edge on back cover. Slight blunting at both spine corners. Corners are sharp. Comic is clean and flat. Cover gloss is superb; inks are bright with high reflectivity. Pages are brilliant white. Shipping details: After nearly ten years of keeping shipping costs at the same rate, we have recently had to raise them due to another increase by the USPS. Comic ships in a comic bag with backing board securely and safely within a Gemini cardboard mailer for $5.95, which includes tracking number and insurance. Larger orders of comics/magazines will ship in a small box. Note: Larger orders may ship USPS Media mail, UPS Ground or Fed-Ex Ground, whichever is cheaper, since most larger orders would typically qualify for the free shipping method [paid by me].[Note: with the rising costs to collector supplies not all comics will be boarded in larger orders but all will definitely be bagged].
