This button was an official issued button from 1775 to 1776 when they were absorbed in the 15th REG. Then again July 1779 the brigade was reassigned to the Highland's Department and was redesignated as the 1st Massachusetts Regiment on 1 August 1779. NOTE The slight bend. other than that this button is in amazing condition!
