Description: MERIDIAN-201 Vintage Soviet Transistor Radio since 1971 from USSR Good external condition. Looks intact. Minor defects. See pictures. Receives station. May need some capasitirors changing etc (I did not do anything) but generally the radio is working. Selling AS IS Since 1971, portable radio receivers "Meridian-201" and "Ukraine-201" have been produced by the Kiev plant "Radiopribor". Receivers of the second class ''Meridian-201'' and ''Ukraine-201'' are assembled according to the same electrical circuit and design, and differ only in the name and design. They are designed to receive radio stations operating in the LW, MW and HF bands. The HF band is divided into four subbands. Reception on all bands is carried out on a magnetic antenna, and on HF also on a telescopic one. All stages of the receivers, with the exception of the pre-terminal and output stages of the bass amplifier, are made on integrated circuits. There are 3 integrated circuits in the receiver: local oscillator and frequency converter; IF amplifier and detector; ULF preliminary cascades.
