Description: MONTGOMERY WARD CHAINSAW, MADE BY CLINTON, MODEL WD-45, WITH ROLLER NOSE BAR & CHAIN. Sold for parts or not working. It looks a lot like a Clinton D-53 or a D-65. Clinton manufactured the saw for Wards. This saw has sat for a long time. Chains is 1/2 inch pitch and .063 gauge. The chain is in very poor condition and is included for measurement. The bar is straight and the roller nose works as designed. The bar needs to be sanded etc. There are two holes in the bottom of the gas tank (see close up photo). The engine does not turn over, probably a broken piston ring (see close up photo with the muffler removed). The head may have to come off. There is some damage to the front bottom of the bar mount (see close up photo). A real project! Take a close look at all the photos and email with any questions before purchase.
