Description: A most elegant vintage Edwardian 1912 evening dress. The dress is made of black silk and has silver beading on the front back and sleeve cuffs. The dress has a weighted floating back panel. The bodice has a Cluny lace front insert and collar. The dress bodice is lined with cotton and the skirt is lined with silk. The dress has a front hook and eye closure. The label reads Jenne Roberts Importer and is probably French made. The dress is in very good and sturdy condition. There is some discoloration on the lining in the sleeves and I would just remove the lining. There is one tiny 1/2 inch split on one sleeve cuff. There is no missing beading.
