All 36 portrait plates collated complete; the plate of Gov. W. P. Hunt of Arizona facing p. 110 is darkened around its edges and worn, trimmed by a quarter inch and with its bottom edge somewhat darkened and worn. Contains recipes by some well known folk, including Jack London, Carmen London, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, George W. Cable, Jane Addams, Constance Lytton, Irvin S. Cobb, and many Pittsburghers as well. A rare book that in nicer condition commands asking prices between $2000 and $4000, this is unfortunately not handsome enough to warrant pricing it that high, but is a not unattractive copy -- with a price to match!
