Description: Sale is for a pre-owned CD (I am first and only owner) of ancient Greek music under a French Label Harmonia Mundi France. Title of CD is "Musique de la GRECE ANTIQUE Atrium Musicae de Madrid - Dir. Gregorio Paniagua". Interestingly the label says Made In Germany. Disc is complete with a little explanatory booklet dated/published in the year 2000. I bought this many years ago because of my interest in ancient Greece, but never played it before I lost (broke?) my CD player and it has been stored in a drawer ever since. On the back of the case the English reads: "A Unique Musical Document! Whereas proofs of the greatness of Ancient Greek architecture and literature still exist in abundance, no more than a few scraps of their music have miraculously survived. They have been gathered together here for the first time in a partly 'archaeological', partly imaginary panorama of this music that was, after all, an integral part of daily life in Ancient Greek."
