Description: One Naturally Holey Beach Stone, coquinoid sandstone with calcite crystals. Tumbled by the tides and time.Collected along the shores of the Treasure Coast. This stone is about 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” x 1/4” thick. The hole is approximately 1/8" X 3/8" and irregular shaped. It is thickly speckled shades of gray.On the front side, opposite side of the hole is a circular area of crystals surrounded by a gray shell inclusion. This area of crystal formation are highlighted in the close-up photos (#2 and more at the end of the photo group). The crystals bring a little bling to this old stone. Keep in mind, I find my stones on the beach, in full sun. I notice the sparkle first. Once I have it home and the stone is under normal interior lighting it is not as spectacular, but still sparkles.
