Description: 2002 Vintage Scroll Necklace & Earrings Gift Set by Avon This is a beautiful one! It’s hard to get an accurate photo that really shows how it stands out in the light. The metal is an Antique Bronze tone which gives it a Nouveau Victorian look. The faux Rhinestones throughout in the flowers centers look to be a medium to hot bright pink. The hanging beads look to have an AB (Aurora Borealis) coating on a few sides which add extra tones to them. They are possibly a red to fuchsia color because u get versions of both depending on the side that shows. The AB side puts off a variety of colors & since the AB coating acts like a mirror the Antique Bronze from the metal even gives these beads a bit of a gold tone. This set really caught my eye. It’s one of my favorites which is why I chose it as a set to start with. I think it’s a great choice for the holidays especially an office party but it would look great even on a teen. It could be worn anytime especially the earrings as the set isn’t a large heavy piece. The faceted teardrop Demi necklace is adjustable Approx between 15” - 18” because it was made with an extender. This Gift Set is Brand New! ~ This set part of a large Avon Estate I am helping to sell of a 102 year old women from my community who had a little Avon shop in Coeur D Alene, ID for 30-50 yrs. I do know she sold Avon for over 70 years. She has quite a large collection of the jewelry that I am just starting to list now. Most of these New in Box items look like they have been stored since she bought them. The boxes are in Great shape & I will do what I can to package them so they stay that way during shipping so they can be added & kept for my buyers collections. I am not able to accept returns of these for any reason. If you have any questions ask me before you buy them. In many cases like this one the item is over 20 years old. I will say Avon’s plating process has been one of the best! That’s why there is so much available to be sold. I have some here from the 70’s that’s 50 yrs old that still looks Brand New. I expect these pieces to be long lasting but they still need care like any jewelry does.
