Description: North Carolina & South Carolina Esso Map - 1942 Up for sale is a nice fold-out map of North and South Carolina issued by Esso in 1942. The inside legend says "1942 revised." At the top of the cover, someone has written in pen "1-11-46." I am wondering if this map wasn't the 1942 map revised right after the war in 1945 to suffice until the 1946 map came out. The map is in great shape, except for a route highlighted (see photograph). Other than the highlight, the map feels like it has barely been open. The color is bright and the paper is firm.
