Description: Karen Alexander Size: 6 This is a brand new vintage Karen Alexander dress, tag still attached. I bought it in the early 90's from the one "boutique" store in our town when they still used handwritten price tags. I loved the look, but it is long and thin and I was neither one.I'm 5'3" and it's definitely ankle length on me, but I believe for most it would be mid-calf or "midi".The Tencel and rayon blend was something new at that time (Tencel is a name brand of lyocell), only used in higher end clothing lines. The fabric is 56% Tencel (lyocell), 44% rayon; fluid, silky feel that moves when you're walking.Color is sort of "denim" blue or indigo maybe, with white stripes on the top.Two deep slits in front, one below each row of buttonsMeasurements: Bust - 16-1-2" (measured across laying flat, armpit - to - armpit) Waist - 13-1/2" (measured across laying flat, thru center of belt loops) Hips - 19" (measured across laying flat, at fullest point) NOTE: I'm listing several Karen Alexander pieces from the late 80's-early 90's - check them out!
