O P CO Syracuse China "ORIENTAL" 16 inch Oval Platter Very Good Used Condition

Description: This is a very good used condition 16 inch oval platter in the Oriental pattern made by Syracuse China. The platter is free of cracks, chips or repairs that I can find. There are light use marks on the top surface that can be seen under sunlight. There a couple of dark spots in two locations (see photo 2 and 3, each is a separate location on the surface). The firing stilt marks are visible on the back side of the plate from the manufacturing process (3rd photo) and should not be confused as a defect. There are some black spots on the foot (I believe they can be removed with some barkeepers friend) as shown in the 9th & 10th photo. There are two marks on the back side that are under the glaze as shown in 7th and 8th photos. The piece is well marked. The platter measures about 16 inches lengthwise, about 11 7/8th inches across and about 1 1/4 inches tall. I have moved to a much smaller house. I'm in the process of downsizing my collections and inventory from vintage/antique booths that I had in the Midwestern states over the years. As I open a box the contents will be listed. I have not seen some the items of over 15+ years. I also come across some unusual pieces that I pick up on occasion. Please be sure to look at all the pictures, they are part of the description. All items are well protected. In the event of damage I will be responsible to file all breakage claims and paperwork. The buyer will provide the photos of the box, label and damaged item on notification of breakage. Save all items (Including packing material, box, and items broken and unbroken) you may be required to present them during the claim process with the post office. I will let you know when the claim is complete so that you can dispose of the material and damaged items. International customers: I use the eBay international shipping service. The entire process to include invoicing is controlled by eBay. I can not adjust the shipping cost from what you see on the screen at your end. The only information that I can see on my end is the shipping address to the International shipping center in Kentucky.
