Description: It seems like a reproduction, but it isn't! C. 1880s Nine Patch Quilt top with overdyed green and double pink nine patch blocks en point. Nicely made, Lays very flat. Excellent structural condition, with a few small spots as shown. Tiny seam allowances, but has not been soaked or washed, in its life, so there's no fraying or puckering. The outer borders and sashing are machine sewn, and blocks are hand sewn. I suspect the 9 patch blocks themselves are earlier than the borders which seem to be c. 1880s. My home is smoke free, pet friendly.
