Description: Original LUXOR pear box/pear crate label. From the 1940s for pears packed & shipped by Fruit Growers Service Co. in Wenatchee, Washington. Strong image of a red Maltese Cross which is a symbol of the Knights of Malta with decorative design on either side in the middle. This brand was used for many years by a different packer, this version is matte which predates the glossy more common label from the 1950s. Blue label for extra fancy grade pears.Label is in mint condition BUT IT DOES HAVE LIGHT HANDLING MARKS - see scans. I will combine shipping on auctions.
