A hangout for star celebrities since its inception, La Quinta Resort's greatest claim-to-fame is as the site which film director and frequent guest Frank Capra wrote the screenplay for Lost Horizon poolside in 1937. Original & historic, large format, film negative. From a recovered archive of an old Los Angeles RPPC photo postcard manufacturer. Images in this collection date from the 1920s to the early 1950s.
