Offered for auction is an original vintage La Belle Specialty Company Joan d’ Arc bronze figural lamp from the 1920s. It depicts a robed Joan of Arc, kneeling and decorated with garlands. She holds a fitter above her head where a lovely amber crackle glass replacement globe sits. The lamp is signed "LA BELLE SPECIALTY CO PAT PENDG" on the base. The lamp base has wonderful patina on its original bronze finish with copper highlights. The lamp is approximately 16 “ tall to the top of the socket and is approximately 20 ½” tall with the globe. The lamp is heavy, weighing nearly 5 ½ lbs. The amber crackle shade has a fitter opening of approximately 3-1/8” and is in very nice condition, with a few tiny bubbles throughout and a tiny chip on the rim that is not noticeable when sitting in the lamp fitter. The lamp comes with new electricals and is ready to be plugged in and enjoyed for many years to come.
