Historical context: poster was issued possibly in 1948, it should promote newly formed Czechoslovakia as a great place for travel and vacation, because it offered (and still offers) unusual count of castles and other architecture gems, especially from the medieval ages. This poster depicts famous Czech and Slovak castles - Karlstejn, Orava, Spis and Raby.
