Description: Excellent condition. No chips or nicks. The markings on the underside are called pontil marks. They're from what the pottery rests on during the glazing/firing process. Some very minor wear and tear as this is a serving tray used in restaurants back in the day. Coffee with a side of radiation, anyone? The circle in the middle was used for housing a bean pot also from the Pacific hostessware line of pottery. This is a rare item and even more so to be in such awesome condition. As always, I'm available for more photos and especially for this item due to its price point video chat as well. Please allow me to do everything in my power to provide you imagery of what you are purchasing as this item is heavy and expensive to ship. We want to minimize damage to historical pieces. This is a one of a kind piece. Thank you again.
